We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Where information is stored
Fractivo is based in Canada, and most of our service providers store data in the United States. Information may therefore be processed outside your country, where privacy laws may differ and authorities may be able to access it under local law. For transfers from the EU or UK, we rely on our providers’ adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires, such as for tax and accounting records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect information
We limit access to the people who need it, use providers with strong security practices, and protect our accounts with multi-factor authentication. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
- Stop or limit how we use it, including for business emails
- Give you your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier, including for cookies
These rights come from laws including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s privacy law, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and US state privacy laws.
How to make a request. Email contact@fractivo.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will answer within 30 days, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
Complaints. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to a privacy regulator: in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in the EU, your local data protection authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
Our sites and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change, and we change the effective date at the top when we do. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will tell you on our sites or by email.
